On Sunday 16th July Abercamlais joined forces with neighbours Penpont to open their gardens for the first ever River Walk; a fund-raising event in aid of Penpont Church. Visitors started at Penpont and walked along the riverbank to Abercamlais where they were able to see the gardens and enjoy an ice cream on the lawn. They headed back down to Penpont along the other side of the river bank where teas and and refreshments were provided. The day was a huge success with over 400 visitors enjoying the beautiful scenery!
