In May we hosted two group visits at Abercamlais. The first was from Art Friends Gwent; a society for those interested in art, galleries, houses and gardens. The group visited Brecon Museum in the morning and Abercamlais in the afternoon. The sunshine appeared as they toured the gardens and house, followed by tea and cakes on the lawn.

Our second visit was from the Wyre Forest & District Centre of the National Trust, a support group for the National Trust which hosts a wide range of activities. The Wyre Forest straddles the borders of Worcestershire and Shropshire. The group of over 40 people arrived by coach for the afternoon and once again we were lucky with the weather as they toured the gardens and house, with a rain shower only making an appearance after tea and cakes!

It was a real pleasure to host these two groups at Abercamlais and to meet and chat with their members.
