We are excited to be working with Walk Hay to offer a 4.5 mile walk around the Abercamlais Estate and surrounding area.
The walk will start and finish at Abercamlais. Walk Hay founder Sarah Price will expertly guide walkers over fields and on quiet lanes, visiting a tiny church before gradually ascending to a small moorland for views across to the Beacons. After a packed lunch viewpoint, the walk heads down hill again and back to the start to be guided around the house and garden.
At this time of year there should be a beautiful display of bearded irises to enjoy, part of the Bryan Dodsworth Iris Collection, as well as many other examples of flora. See our recently reinstated beehives and visit our shop to purchase honey, mugs, cards, prints and much more. At the end there will be delicious home-made cakes and a hot drink to enjoy after a day to remember!
