There are two very old vines of dessert grapes (one white and one red) in the vinery.
In days gone by dinner guests were invited to pick their own grapes to enjoy after their meal.
We are unsure of the variety of grapes but hope to discover more about the history of the vines which continue to produce a healthy amount of fruit.
