We were delighted to welcome Hay U3A to Abercamlais for a group visit earlier in August.
There were tours of the house and our guests were able to find out about the history of the family as well as the architectural history of Abercamlais.
Tours of the gardens showcased the ongoing work and restoration taking place, and guests were able to explore the walled garden and vinery, as well as seeing the Abercamlais bridges with their beautiful views over the river.
The weather was fine and our guests finished their day with tea and home-made cakes on the lawn. An enjoyable afternoon!
We look forward to welcoming more U3A groups to Abercamlais in the future!
